Schrändli sculpture garden
Art in a natural environment.
Schrändli is situated on a small terrace on the old church path, which has connected the villages of the Hasliberg with the valley church in Meiringen since 1860.
In 1993/94, the idea matured to make a piece of land in a favoured location directly opposite the classic silhouette of the Wetterhorn group accessible to the public and to organise sculpture exhibitions in a natural setting.
Bushes, hedges, trees, ditches, boulders, tracks and dry stone walls create small spaces that open up to the wider Haslital landscape.
The exhibited sculptures, preferably of a constructive nature, offer an exciting contrast to this idyll and can be discovered from a wide variety of angles thanks to the modulation of the terrain.
The sculpture garden can be reached on foot from Meiringen or from Hasliberg Reuti.
