Inside and outside
From easy to technically challenging
The Haslital has many spectacular rock faces for you to climb – each with superb mountain views. Have you ever tried a via ferrata? It’s an unforgettable experience. And in winter, or when the weather is bad, you can head to the indoor climbing wall in Meiringen.
Safety first
Safety advice
To tackle the via ferrata, you need to be physically fit, sure-footed and have a head for heights. You’ll also need suitable equipment and knowledge of how to behave on the mountain. If you don’t have much experience, it’s recommended to climb the via ferrata with a mountain guide. Only go on the via ferrata in good weather – and leave immediately if the weather changes or if there is a risk of a storm. One carabiner should always stay connected to the safety rope.
