The healthcare system in Switzerland is based on several levels and is subject to a fee. It is important that you contact the right centre, otherwise you may incur high costs.
Here are your contacts - depending on the problem:
Do you have a minor injury or impairment, e.g. insect bite, sore throat or cold? Do you need a medicine?
Contact your nearest pharmacy. The specialist staff will give you expert advice and dispense medicines if necessary. An emergency service is also guaranteed on Sundays and public holidays. Please note that additional costs may be incurred outside official opening hours (emergency fee).

Tip: In a hospital emergency, the urgency of the case determines the treatment, not the arrival time. This can result in long waiting times. We therefore recommend that you consult the above-mentioned centres first if you have less serious concerns.
