Snowshoeing in a winter wonderland

Snowshoeing in a winter wonderland. On the Hasliberg. Or in the Rosenlauital valley. Or... There’s no shortage of routes in the Haslital holiday region. And each one is more beautiful than the last.

The correct technique

How to do it!

Ankle-high, waterproof walking boots or specialist winter boots are best suited to snowshoeing. As soon as the slope gets steeper, you should unfold the climbing aid. This makes the ascent much easier. When going downhill, the sliding step is recommended. To do this, lean back slightly and slide down with your knees slightly bent. You can increase your speed by leaning back further.
