Lauteraar hut SAC

Original SAC accommodation, a stopover for high-altitude tours in the Aar massif or a turning point on a long, strenuous hike from the Grimsel Hospiz. Impressive view from the hut terrace over the scree-covered Unteraar and Finsteraar glaciers to the east face of the Finsteraarhorn. Hut trail along Grimselsee over narrow paths carved into the rock and through protected high moors with Swiss stone pines and flower mats.
