Gelmerhütte SAC
Perched high above the turquoise-blue Gelmersee, the Gelmerhütte captivates visitors with its unique location in the Grimsel region. This cozy SAC hut offers 55 beds and serves as an ideal starting point for hikes, climbing tours, and alpine adventures. The approach leads through an impressive granite landscape with spectacular views of Lake Gelmer and the surrounding peaks. Thanks to the hut’s own hydroelectric power plant, electricity, heating, and hot water are generated sustainably. The hut is staffed from mid-June to mid-October and invites you to linger with its warm hospitality.
