History defrosts itself at the Gauli Glacier.
Accompanied by guardian angels, an American Dakota C-53 with twelve passengers on a flight from Vienna to Marseilles makes a crash landing on the Gauli Glacier in 1946. Immediately after rescuing the crew, the plane is snowed in.

The water thunders down the rock face here – no wonder, the Trümmelbach Waterfalls drain the huge glacier walls of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau all by themselves.

We've always got enough water in the Grimselwelt. Electricity is even produced with it. During a visit to a power station all of this is explained to us – and of course the ride through a labyrinth of tunnels in the rock face is included.
